I took my little hike today to the library, and trust me it was to hot to go much further than that. The library is only a few blocks away from my house. When I got their I was so hot and thirsty I wish I had brought some water with me. The librarian offered to give me some juice but after a few stops at the water fountain I was fine. Thank you Susannah! For more details and a picture...http://shellssummerreading.blogspot.com/2012/06/day-30.html

DeleteWe always enjoying seeing you at the library! It looks like rain this afternoon. Maybe things will cool off a bit and your walk here won't be so bad!

Shell,
ReplyDeleteWhen it gets this hot a little hike to the library definitely feels like an epic quest! Early morning or after dark are the way to go in June.

The hike deep in the desert took us back over 10,000 years. with a lite breeze out of the east the Arizona sun was not that bad.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear the heat wasn't too bad for you, Swagg Master!

When i went hiking i originally thought that it was going to be boring but after taking the hike i learned about the symbols that were drawn a long time ago which is pretty cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! Where did you see the symbols, were they petroglyphs?
DeleteP.S. Once again, you and Swagg Master have unlocked another piece of the image!
