SummerQuest 8

Today your quest is to visit an art gallery, either in person or virtually. Your challenge is to find the local Tucson artist who built his/her own studio out of adobe. Instead of posting the answer, describe his/her style of artwork, and your favorite thing about it. After 5 people have responded, we will post the answer and unlock the next piece of the picture!

    1. Hi Shell, I had to redact the answer from your comment so that other people get a chance to figure it out, but you were right! Here's what Shell wrote, minus the answer:

" "My best painting is the next one. I haven't painted it yet. I am in competition with myself, and that's tough, because I believe that each thing that I do must be better in some way than the last." ~[The mystery artist]

I like his paintings of the little children, lots of color and very cute. I visited it on the computer but hope I'll get a chance to see it for real."

    2. P.S. Shell, if you make it to this artist's gallery, I recall it being especially nice to visit during the heat of the summer. My mom took my family there when I was small.

  3. I think that the thing that i liked about the art was the pictures of the Indians riding and rounding up his horses and i would describe his art as like a sketch with homemade colors and tools..... and ummmm......: P...... idk what else to think about?!
